The difference between Samsung lamp bead and Non- Samsung lamp beads

1. Appearance:
Lamp beads bracket:  Clearly we can see Samsung lamp bead has 4 pins , people call it 5630 which is popular for a time because of its 130lm/w , most of Chinese made lamp bead has 2 pins , people call it 5730 to avoid Samsung patent , because the optical efficiency of this type Lamp beads bracket is good , see as picture:

2. Components:
Samsung 5630 is a kind of lighting source mainly applied in television and flat panel backlighting , because there is high-voltage lines in TV and higher static electricity , .To overcome this problem , Samsung put a zener diode in every led to in order to improve the antistatic performance of lamp beads itself,  the zener diode is see as picture:

3. Chip:
Because most of Samsung lighting source are applied in television and flat panel backlighting, it needs the lamp beads have a much higher light efficiency .So the chips size that Samsung lamp beads use is 24*46MIL, besides , Samsung has its special electrode lines,  see as pictures:

The above 3 points can fully show Samsung lamp beads speciality , and also can easily distinguish whether it is Samsung lamp beads.  However , the chips manufacturing of Samsung is from Taiwan Epistar,  because of insufficient production capacity before 2013, 60% of chips buy from Epistar. After engaged in 10 years of lamp beads production , I always think Samsung is not better than Taiwan Epistar.(personal view) No matter Korea Samsung , Korea LG, neither of them has an easy time now (three Korea giant in lamp beads production) . The lighting efficiency of Chinese made lamp beads can be made 158lm/w(Cree’s lighting efficiency is 189lm/w) .The korea brand can win such a popularity, it owes to the effort of the whole korean.
