A new type led lighting module successfully developed

Yayuhong Optoelectronic& Technology developed a new kind of AD lighting module,which is differentfrom traditional dripping module and LED injection module. Shiningappearance,reasonable structure ,with excellent material,those makes anunparalleled products in both beautifulness and reliability .

We named “SmallLighting Source Module Carrier”(short for “SmallModule Carrier”below)for this new module,it can not only carry any type CreeSMD light sources,but also can emit any Osram square type LED lightsources(lighting level ), besides,we can also carry Samsung and LG lightsource.Generally we use Cree and Osram light source,we have many yearspartnership with them.

Current module structure in china market

Along with economic growth and development of AD industry,plenty AD signage products comes out,meanwhile it brings flourishing market for LED lighting source industry, thousands of AD light source products chocking up the goods shelf and lighting up any products sings.AD signages,indicators,lighting boxes,signages,Static and Dynamic display,AD machines etc.application areas from individual household to commercial bank;Fromlandmark indicator to controlling center display;From doorplate display,channeldisplay,jewelry display to construction profile ,airport,railway station,supermarket and so on different places.
There are nothing else than 2 structure modules:
First one uses dripping technology,materials includes:PVC module shell,PC board,lamp beads,cable,glue,resistance,solder paste.Stick the beads and resistance on PCB,using chip mounter;Then bonding wire and connect the cable on two PCB ends,put PCB on the PVC bottom shell,dripping epoxy resin,last step spontaneous curing.
The second one is so-called “injection module”.Sames as dripping module,difference is that it sends a PCB(with cable and beads)into injection molding machine,then wrap with PVC or ABS.
For the dripping module,the module seems fully wrapped the PCB,in fact it will result gap between epoxy resin and other arts,because of below reasons:quality of epoxy resin,operation time,environment of the material which contacted by epoxy resin,will work longer time if good waterproof function.If working under high moisture ,high temperature or raining place for long time,maybe the lifespan of the module will not exceed 3months,so structure is important;Besides,another reason is that it’s incompatible between epoxy resin and beads used silicone ，if any redundant contact when production,it will result vulcanized in the coming future so that the module cannot work regularly.In all this kind structure module ,will stop working because of structure probloem when high temperature,high moisture or a vulcanized place .
Comparing to dripping module,injection module will be easier in production controlling and it can change the viewing angle by lens ,in order to apply to different AD products.They have the same short comings with dripping modules,if any QC problem,the waterproof function will begreatly reduced,adding complicated production procedure ，low production efficiency,it rather difficult to be a eligible controller,even if comes good products,the price will be extremely expensive.
So in china,if any customer complaints happens,it will end up with nothing definites,since it’s decided by material,technology and production efficiency etc.Every supplier sold their products with margin.So among those china module manuacturers,the product wasnot so quality,because of their management level ,different kind of materialetc….

PCB standard of LED module

General printing board used baseplate material can be divided into 2 types: Rigidity baseplate and flexibility baseplate. an important type rigidity baseplate is CCL, it uses reinforeing material with resin adhesive, via drying, cutting, mounted into blank, then covered with copper foil, using steel plate as molding, coming into formed by high temperature and high pressure in 
hot press. the general composite board used prepreg, is the semi-finished  CCL when processing(mainly glass cloth soaked with resin, with drying process).

PCB standard of LED module

There are many sorting methods forCCP(copper clad plate).generally if according to different reinforcingmaterial, can divided into: paper base, fiberglass fabric base, combined base（CEM series）,laminated,multilayer base and special material base(ceramic, metal….) and so on 5categories. If according to different type plate used resin adhesive, usualpaper base CCI include:Phenol-formaldehyde resin(XPc、XxxPC、FR一1、FR一2etc)、Epoxy resin(FE一3) 、Polyesterresin and so on types. Usual fiberglass fabric base CCL is Epoxy resin(FR一4、FR一5),this is the most common .Besides ,Thereare other special resin(use fiberglass fabric ,poly amide fiber, nonwovens asstrengthen material):BT, PI, PPO, MS, poly cyanic acid resin, polyolefin resinetc.

If according to flame retardation, it can be divided into antiflaming (UL94一VO、UL94一V1 level ) and unantiflaming (UL94一HB level).In current 2 years, with the eco-friendly becoming more and more important, there is a new CCL type which doesn’t include bromine, it can be called”green flame retardation CCL” with the highly speed development of electronics ,the requirement for CCL becomes higher. So, according to the performance of CCL, it can be divided into General performance CCL, low-k CCL, high thermostability CCL(normal ones is higher than 150℃),low CTE CCL(generally used on package substrate )etc.

The highly developing electronic market raise new demands for PCB base, this push the development of copper-clad plate standard. Currently, below are the main standard for baseplate material:

1)      National standard. Right now in china, relevant standard include GB／T4721—4722 1992 and GB 4723—4725—1992,for Taiwan is CNS standard which drawn up to JIS Japan, publish in 1983.
